At Louise Vincent School of Dance we aim on making dance and learning enjoyable for all of our students. Our goal is to nurture and develop movement, musicality and inspire artistry, whilst growing confidence and social skills in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Our Lessons
We teach children from the age of 2 years old, through to teenagers and up to adults no matter their experience. Our lessons will last for 30 minutes for younger children, increasing to 1 hour 15 minutes for older students.
Classes have a maximum of 20 pupils allowing for individual attention in a safe, supportive, environment.
Royal Academy of Dance
The school follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus and we enter students for exams annually. Classes are inclusive and pupils can choose to take the RAD examination, there is no obligation to do so.
Our focus is on making the exams rewarding, motivating and enjoyable for all our students.
Our Shows
One of the school highlights is the Biennial School Show, which involves all of our students. The show is held in a theatre, with costumes and lights creating a unique learning experience, developing confidence and creating lasting memories for years to come.
Other opportunities include performing at Andover Dance Festival, taking part in local Fetes and attending Summer Workshops.
Our Qualifications
Being fully registered with the Royal Academy of Dance means that our school meets the requirements and high standards set by the organisation, demonstrating our proficiency and commitment to dance.
With the Silver Swans program, we teach older adults who are interested in learning ballet. It focuses on promoting health, well-being and social interaction, providing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the benefits of dance.
