About Louise Vincent

Louise trained at the Hammond School and the Royal Ballet Upper School before becoming a professional ballet dancer with English National Ballet in 1994.

As a member of the corps de ballet she performed in all the company’s major productions including Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Cinderella and Romeo and Juliet with roles including Pas de Six in Giselle, second solo girl in Napoli and Mirlitons in Nutcracker.


In September 1999 Louise completed the Professional Dancers Teachers Diploma at the Royal Academy of Dance and was awarded a Distinction. Since graduating Louise has worked for schools in Yorkshire, Oxfordshire and a college in London before setting up the Louise Vincent School of Dance in 2001. She has taught on a number of the Royal Academy of Dance’s Summer and Easter school’s including Japan, Singapore, Italy and Luxembourg.


Louise has a NVQ in Early Years Childcare and Education and a Silver Swan Licensee. As well as being Principle, teacher and admin lady, Louise is also a Mum of 3.

A very proud moment for Louise was when The Louise Vincent School of Dance moved into its brand-new purpose-build studio in September 2022. With a studio to finally call her own, Louise is looking forward to growing her school and exploring new and exciting opportunities for the benefit of current and future pupils.
