The Louise Vincent School of Dance are committed to protecting your privacy, we have procedures in place to ensure data protection and client confidentiality comply with legislation.
Our data protection policy informs you of what information we collect from you, how it is stored and how we use it. By choosing the Louise Vincent School of Dance, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

The personal data we collect is

· Child Date of birth and gender
· Telephone numbers
· Injuries/disabilities/medical
· Emergency contact details
This data is collected through the Louise Vincent School of Dance Class4kids online registration.
How we use the data
We will process your personal data to allow us to provide you with our services. Your data will also be used to manage future communications between us including information about classes, examination’s, future events, and cancellations. We will only use your data for the purpose for which it is collected. We do not share your data with any third party. When entering children for their Royal Academy of Dance examinations, their name and DOB are required as part of the registration process, this will be done so after seeking parental permission. Anyone teaching or assisting at the Louise Vincent School of Dance will be informed of this policy and obligated to adhere to its contents.
Children’s policy
All information will be collected through the parent or guardian until the child reaches the age of understanding – or the age at which they can consent for themselves – UK age 13.
Storing the data – security
All electronic data will be password protected and only accessible by authorised individuals for the purpose of work. All information will be collected prior to the student’s attendance.
The information will be held for as long as your child or you are a pupil of the Louise Vincent School of Dance. After this time all electronic data deleted.
Sensitive Data
We do not ask for information such as race or ethnicity, religion, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinion or criminal convictions and offences.
We do ask for injuries or disabilities information to ensure safe dance practise.
The right of access
Should you wish to access your personal data please email us at louisevincentschoolofdance@outlook.com and we will provide evidence of all information we hold about you.
It is important that the information we hold about you is correct and up to date, please inform us of any changes to your personal information.

In the event that we break data protection rules
All breaches of the data protection rules would be immediately reported and without undue delay to the ICO on 0303 123 1113 by the data controller.

We will disclose your personal information where required to so by the law or if we believe that lawful disclosure is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of the law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our service.

Terms and Conditions
Fees and payment
Newcomers will be offered a free trial class.
For returning children all invoices must be settled a week before classes commence.
Refunds will not be given for non-attendance other than if a student is absent from classes for four consecutive weeks due to illness.
Withdrawing from the dance school
Parents/guardians of students must either give half a terms written notice to louisevincentschoolofdance@outlook.com or pay half a terms fees if they wish to withdraw from classes.
Cancellations
If a class is cancelled due to the sickness of the teacher/teachers’ children or unforeseen event, the following term’s invoice will be reduced accordingly.
